Trouble in Camelot
When
Hillary Clinton accepted Obama's offer for the position of Secretary of State,
her senate seat needed to be filled. Several names were floated. The democrat
governor of New York, David Paterson, was expected to name Caroline Kennedy.
Although,
Caroline has absolutely no experience for the job, neither did Hillary Clinton.
At least Hillary needed to win an election. Be that as it may, it appeared that
the job was Caroline's.
Well, it turns out that Caroline did not do so well
in the vetting process. It seems there were some "personal" troubles
that caused her to remove her name from contention. The "personal" problems
were tax issues and her hiring of an illegal alien as a nanny.
It's unclear
why this was cause for her not to fill the position. After all, tax cheat Timothy
Geithner was nominated by Obama to head up the IRS as Secretary of the Treasury.
Paterson later said that he never had any intention of naming Caroline as Hillary's
replacement.
It's a typical liberal feeding frenzy. The unqualified and the
felonious are grabbing for power in an administration that is doomed. It's like
fighting for the best seat on the sinking Titanic.
