Jimmy "The Buffoon" Carter

Jimmy Carter - The Buffoon Speaks...Again
In January, 14 of Jimmy Carter's closest advisors resigned. Why an ex-president needs 14 advisors is anyone's guess. However, they cited his distortions of the truth in his latest book.

Without question, Carter was the worst president this nation has ever had. Now, close to the end of his time on Earth, Carter is lashing out, desperately trying to pin that dishonor on someone else. Carter has called Bush's administration "the worst in history." Oh, Really?

Let's compare:
Carter had the "Misery Index." Bush brought the economy booming back after it nosedived in the final months of the Clinton economy of smoke and mirrors. Carter had the Iranian hostage crisis. Bush took on communist China after they commandeered one of our aircraft in international airspace, took on the Taliban and al Qaida after 9/11 and ended Saddam's oil-for-food scam with the French, Germans and Russians. Carter had his brother Billy. Bush has his father, President Bush and his brother, Governor Jeb Bush. Carter beat Ford, who was not an elected president. Carter lost reelection. Bush beat Gore, on every recount. Bush beat Kerry, not contested.

Update 05/21/2007

Apparently, Jimmy Carter couldn't handle the attention of his hypocritical statement regarding the Bush administration, "this [Bush] administration has been the worst in history." Today, he said he wasn't comparing the Bush administration and was not talking about Bush.

He most certainly was comparing and he was speaking of the current administration, which is Bush's.

What actually happed was that the reporting of his hypocritical remark included facts of Carter's own failed presidency. As mentioned here is this article and the TLG article of January 2007.

The Carter legacy as the worst president in US history remains intact.

Carter, who, as mentioned, lost reelection to Ronald Reagan by the largest margin ever, is upset with our foreign policy of striking the terrorists before they strike us, again. Carter advised us that Reagan was mishandling the Cold War at the time. We won without a shot being fired.

Carter is also upset that Bush hasn't brought peace to the Middle East. In fact, it was Carter and Clinton's ignorance that has emboldened the terrorists across the Middle East. While Carter cow-towed to the Iranians, Reagan's inauguration caused the Iranians to free the hostages. They knew that their time was up. Carter sent his brother Billy to Libya to get a loan from Khadafi. Reagan bombed Libya and Khadafi was no longer a problem.

The one thing liberals can't understand is that peace comes from strength, not spineless appeasements. Time and time again it has been shown to be true. The former Soviet Union, Libya, Iraq, Communist China, Cuba, the list is endless. Everyone, but a liberal, understands that you deal with a bully by punching him in the nose, not giving him more of your lunch money.

Keep slinging the mud, Carter. You were a miserable failure as a president. However, you do keep reminding everyone what fools liberals are and how the Nobel Peace Prize is nothing but a joke.
