The Only Change Obama Brings is Changing Biden's Positions
Last
night's debate had a smooth-talking Joe Biden trying to continually paint the
McCain/Palin ticket as another term for George W. Bush. In doing so, Governor
Palin pointed out time and again that the Obama Biden ticket represents the same
old liberal politics dating back to at least the Carter years.
Palin used Biden's
past voting record in the senate and his statements made as a previous presidential
candidate were at odds with what he was now preaching as he followed the Obama
liberal playbook.
As Biden tried to extol the virtues of Obama, Palin's straight
talk and common sense had Biden on the ropes. Not that this debate will change
anyone who has made up their mind, but it was clear for all to see what hypocrites
the democrats are. The only "change" Obama will give America is 38 cents
left after taxes for every dollar earned.
Painfully obvious, the decked was
already stacked against Palin. The moderator, Gwen Ifill, has a pro-Obama book
coming out on inauguration day. Ifill failed to tell the debate commission about
the book, a flagrant violation of the code of ethics for journalists. Of course,
most journalists are no longer ethical and simply propaganda machines for the
democrats. Anyone with an ounce of integrity would not have moderated this debate
with a financial gain at stake. Ifill allowed Joe Biden to have two extra rebuttals
that he was not supposed to have. She also gave him a question out of turn.
However,
even with the moderator acting as an ally of Biden, Palin easily handled Biden's
used car salesman tactics. Biden never was able to establish what the "change"
was suppose to be from an Obama presidency. His numbers and "facts"
just didn't add up.
Palin showed how Biden had sold out simply to be Obama's
VP running mate. It really was pathetic to see Biden throw away some 35 years
of respect to be only a VP candidate for a socialist like Obama. Then again, outside
of Joe Lieberman, democrats aren't known for integrity. Say it ain't so, Joe.
