Biden's Back!
A
few days ago we stated, "By the way, where is Joe
Biden? Has Obama dumped him? Maybe they just have asked him to shut up for
the remainder of the campaign. Too bad, he always had something stupid, yet entertaining
to say."
Well, Biden is back and he didn't disappoint us, either! While
speaking to Katie Couric on the current financial crisis Biden had this to say,
"When the stock market crashed, Franklin Roosevelt got on the television
and didn't just talk about the princes of greed."
All that was missing
was the sound of a rim shot and a cymbal crash. The stock market crash of which
Biden spoke occurred in 1929. Hoover was president, not FDR and television wouldn't
be invented for years.
Joe, we love you! You're just too funny. You need your
own sit-com.
