Thank You, President George W Bush!
Dear
Mr. President (Bush),
Thank you for your eight years of leadership and for keeping
America safe. We haven't always agreed with every decision you have made, but
we always knew you were on our side.
The hatred from the left knows no bounds,
but your love for this country exceeds that. Like a patient father, you have led
America through some very troubled times.
You took over this country after eight
years of neglect. The economy was in steep decline during Clinton's last summer
in office. Our domestic defense was at its lowest since World War II.
Unlike
your gracious hand over of power to an unqualified Barack Hussein Obama, your
own transition into power was marred by Al Gore trying to sue his way into the
White House. Every recount, even by that of the liberal media, proved you to be
the President of the United States. Then, as you entered the White House, we discovered
that the Clinton Administration had removed all of the "W" keys from
every keyboard; a final insult that cost America not only money, but precious
time. Fortunately, you hit the ground running.
Your first test was communist
China. They commandeered an American aircraft out of international airspace and
forced it to land in China. You stood strong and the communist Chinese acquiesced.
They respected you. As Reagan used to say, peace comes from strength.
It took
the acts of murderous cowards on September 11, 2001 to awaken America to just
how weak and unprepared Clinton and the democrats had left us. In just minutes,
thousands of innocent Americans were killed simply because they were Americans.
At the time you received word of the attack, you were reading to small children
at an elementary school. You did not panic. Like a father protecting those children
as if they were his own, you knew what had to be done and you did it without scaring
them.
In the aftermath, America was stronger. You unchained America's various
law enforcement agencies so they could share information once again. It was later
determined that the policies of Carter and Clinton had prevented the likes of
the CIA and FBI from working together. Their combined information could have been
pieced together and a terrorist plot could have been thwarted.
Under your leadership,
America roared into action. Many of the cowards who had planned this attack were
captured or killed. The rest crawled back under their rocks. The entire world
was now in fear of being attacked by these cowards. It was known that Saddam Hussein
had weapons of mass destruction and had already used them on his own people.
It
was you, Mr. President, who uncovered the massive oil-for-food scam that was run
by Saddam and facilitated by the United Nations. Saddam, France, Germany, Russia
and the United Nations were profiting by stealing the money from Iraqi oil sales
that was supposed to be used for food and medicine for the Iraqi people.
Enduring
years of lies and brutal attacks from the liberal media, you stood strong. Tons
of uranium yellow cake, which only purpose is to make nuclear weapons, was discovered
in Iraq. You quietly had it removed. When it was disclosed, the headlines should
have shouted, "Weapons of Mass Destruction Found!" The press barely
noted it and buried it deep within their papers.
The battle against Saddam was
quickly won. That mission was accomplished. The next mission, restoring Iraq to
its people required battling the terrorists that filled the vacuum left by Saddam.
While the democrats demoralized our troops claiming that the war on terror was
lost, and a daily barrage of doom and gloom from the press, you moved forward
with the Surge. Today, only Obama fails to admit the reality that he and the liberals
were wrong and that the Surge worked.
Under your guidance, the economy came
back to life. However, all of your hard work was laid to waste after only two
years of the democrats regaining control of both houses of congress. The years
of looting and ignoring government regulators had brought an economic nightmare
on the world.
One thing that can not be denied, America has been safe. There
has not been a single successful attack on American soil since September 11, 2001.
Although, Obama won't admit your success, he has decided for now to leave your
Secretary of Defense and Homeland Security policies in place, much to the chagrin
of the liberals.
So, thank you, Mr. President for your service to our country
in its darkest hours. Thank you for your leadership in times of turmoil. Thank
you for the courage to stay strong and outsmarting the liberals at every juncture.
You were dumb like a fox; you were as ferocious as a wolverine. There was
a bear in the woods and his name was George W Bush!
