Why a 100 years? Have you noticed when the global warming crowd talks about the impending doom they always say it will happen in 100 years? They say, "The Earth's temperature will rise two degrees in the next 100 years" or some other such nonsense.

The reason they choose 100 years as their timeline has nothing to do with computer generated simulations of climate change as they claim. They choose the century mark because most all of us will be gone by then. However, we know that our children and grandchildren will be around and they use that fear as leverage to do their liberal bidding.

It's not for the liberals themselves. No, "do it for the children." However, they like to throw in the "ten year caveat." We must act now, or in ten years we will all be gone or it will be too late. The ten year caveat is used because they really don't care about the children regarding global warming. Liberals want to destroy the American way of life now.

In 1988, Ted Danson declared that we only have 10 years left. It's almost been twice as long since he made that ignorant comment. Al Gore said it a short time ago and most recently, Leonardo DiCaprio has said it.

The inconvenient truth is that a group of scientists that disagree with the theory of global warming offered Al Gore a debate on the topic with scientists of his own choosing. Al Gore is hiding in fear. His bluff has been called and he won't respond. Why? He knows the (inconvenient) truth. Global warming is nothing but bunk. Junk science.

We now know that CO₂ does not retain heat like a greenhouse. Not only that, but greenhouses don't work that way either. We also know that the so-called greenhouse gasses are produced naturally and those produced by human activity are insignificant. Furthermore, there is absolutely nothing mankind can do to stop these gasses from being produced, not that there is a reason to do so anyway.

So why do the liberals persist with this nonsense? Liberals can only remain in power through fear and intimidation. Their goal is to control your money. To them, what you earn is the government's money. In their eyes, you are too stupid to know how to spend your money. You therefore must become dependent on the government for your livelihood. Once dependent upon those in power, you will be forced to keep them in power for your very survival.

You may wonder why celebrities get so involved in whacky schemes such as global warming. Firstly, don't confuse their wealth and fame for intelligence. Their wealth and fame is due to you, the average person paying to see and hear whatever they do for its entertainment value.

Celebrities live in constant fear of not being popular. Most of them realize that they have no practical job skills that would support them in the style to which they have become accustomed. They also have a vast emptiness within their hearts. They want to do something to prove that they can make a difference. They are very easily persuaded for causes that they believe are for "the people." They have fooled themselves into thinking that they are somehow more enlightened than the average person. In actuality, they are ignorant liberals.

Some celebrities like to talk about the environment, such as Barbara Streisand. However, she destroyed California coastal land for her own landscaping in Malibu. She was caught window shopping for Hummers (expensive, gas-guzzling SUVs) with her spineless husband James Brolin. They were so fearful of being shown for the liberal hypocrites they truly are that they called in a false police report of stalking in an attempt to stop the pictures from being published. Actually, James Brolin just lives in day-to-day fear of Barbara's wrath.

Okay, do these liberals really want to destroy the American way of life? Not for themselves, but for the average citizen. They are greedy, fearful little elitists. They want what they have and they want what you have. If you get anything at all, it's less for them. They want to take away your opportunity and they want to do it now. However, they first will threaten your children to coerce you.

Since global warming will supposedly destroy the planet in the next 100 years, which 100 years would that be? Would it be the 100 years since 1988 when Danson said that we only have 10 years left? That would mean as of this writing, we only have 82 years left! Maybe it's the 100 years when Al Gore said it, giving us a little more time.
