Failure - The First 100 Days of Obama
For whatever the reason, the liberals love the number 100. Twenty years ago they talked about how global warming was going to destroy the planet in "100" years. Of course, over the last twenty the global climate has cooled, but that doesn't stop them. Then there was the first "100" hours of the democrat-controlled congress. That was a dismal failure. Now they're touting the first "100" days of the Obama administration.

So, let's get a real look at Obama's first "100" days in office and see just exactly how badly he failed:

• On Inauguration Day, the stock market had its biggest inaugural day loss in 124 years since the index was started. Obama has blamed it on the economy he "inherited." He neglects to mention that he was in the democrat-controlled congress that started the economic plunge.
  
  
• Urged for passage of the largest spending bill in history. Supported only by democrats and read by no one, including the Inept One, Obama signed the bill after he returned aboard Air Force One from his Valentine's Day date in Chicago at taxpayer expense. Obama has already out-spent every previous administration combined!
  
  
• Issued Executive Orders that included the closing of the prison at Guntanamo Bay, although he had no plans for what to do with the dangerous terrorists there. The prison is still open. However, it no longer houses "enemy combatants. Now they are now to be called "detainees."
  
  
• Set a timetable for withdrawal from Iraq handing the terrorist insurgents a victory after George W Bush had defeated them with the Surge. Currently, violence in Iraq has escalated due to Obama's spinelessness.
  
  
• After promising transparency in government, Obama ordered that all sealed records from previous administrations be released upon request, except those of his own administration. Obama won't even release his own personal records. The only thing transparent about the Obama administration is that we can all see through Obama.
  
  
• Appointed numerous tax cheats and the inexperienced to his cabinet including Timothy Geithner, who now runs the IRS
  
  
• GM and Chrysler are going bankrupt with Ford soon to follow. GM's demise was the result of allowing the unions, which support liberal democrats, to hold them as economic hostages. Chrysler's fate was almost averted by a deal with Fiat, but Obama took away Chrysler's bargaining leverage when he announced when he would force Chrysler into bankruptcy. Chrysler is stilling fighting, but it's only a matter of time. Because of Obama, almost no one is buying a new American car.
  
  
• Restored federal funding with taxpayer money to pay for embryonic stem cell research that will encourage more abortions. Embryonic stem cell research has produced absolutely no medical breakthroughs. As George W Bush predicted, other types of research produced results. However, the results that liberals want are more abortions, not medical breakthroughs.
  
  
• Obama is funding foreign abortions with American taxpayer money.
  
  
• Ordered more troops into Afghanistan without a battle plan or an exit strategy. His goal was simply to have an excuse to move troops out of Iraq to expedite its collapse into the hands of the terrorists.
  
  
• Going against his own executive order of "no Lobbyists," Obama has placed dozens of them within his administration. One high-profile nominee, Tom Daschle, was forced to remove his name when it became common knowledge that he too was a tax cheat and lobbyist and his wife was also a lobbyist.
  
  
• Obama's attempts at foreign relations have been a disaster. Along with Hillary Clinton as his Secretary of State, Obama has managed to agitate every nation he has contacted. He got absolutely no support for his plans at the G20 summit. NATO allies refused to give him military support. After the ignorant Obama made overtures to socialist dictators Kim Jong Il of North Korea, Hugo Chavez of Venezuela, Raul Castro of Cuba and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad of Iran, Kim Jong Il launched a missile capable of carrying a nuclear warhead to the US, Chavez called him an "ignoramus," Raul's brother Fidel told Obama to pound sand and Ahmadinejad declared (again) that the Holocaust did not exist and that Israel should be "wiped off the map."
  

  Update May 11, 2009 Iran released Roxana Saberi. She was originally sentenced to eight years, but an appeals court reduced that to two years and suspended her sentence. Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is running for reelection and didn't want the political baggage of a female journalist, especially if she starved herself to death in his prison.

  
  
• American hostages are being held in North Korea and Iran. American reporters Laura Ling and Euna Lee were kidnapped at the border between South Korea and North Korea. American journalist Roxana Saberi was arrested in Iran and was tricked into giving a false confession thinking she would be released. She is now near death. Obama has done nothing.
  
  
• Obama didn't do a very good job with our closest allies, either. He insulted British Prime Minister with the gift of 25 DVDs that you could get on Amazon.com. He later gave the Queen an iPod preloaded with Obama speeches. His head of Homeland Security, Janet Napolitano, wrongly told the world that Canada was the gateway for terrorists entering the United States including the 9-11 terrorists. However, Obama did give a deep bow to a Saudi prince, showing how literally spineless Obama truly is.
  
  
• While on foreign soil, Obama has never missed a chance to blame America for every problem in the world. He's blamed America and Americans for global warming, economic collapses, terrorism, hunger, drugs, poverty, disease, guns in Mexico and anything else you can imagine.
  
  
• Again, there was Obama's shining gem, Janet Napolitano. She decided that we can't call terrorists' actions terrorism. They must be called "man-caused disasters." There can no longer be a war on terror, it must be called, "overseas contingency operations." However, she then released a report that called American citizens who happened to be veterans, susceptible to becoming domestic terrorists. You see, it's only terrorism, if it threatens their liberal agenda. Calls for Napolitano's resignation have been growing louder. As everyone Obama has nominated, she has no experience.
  
  
• On the domestic economic front, Obama claimed that he has kept his campaign promise of a tax cut for 95% of Americans. That's right; everyone would see an extra $13 a week in their paycheck. Oh Boy! It was later discovered that even though it was small, it wasn't a tax cut at all. It was simply a tax "credit" that you would have to declare as income on next year's tax returns.
  
  
• Just making it in time for the first 100 days, Obama released top secret CIA memos that detailed America's "Enhanced Interrogation Techniques." He said that these techniques are now illegal, but he said he wouldn't prosecute those that used them. Obama failed to mention or release the documents that showed the techniques worked and saved thousands of lives. After his far-left liberal kooks went berserk because they would not get revenge on former President George W Bush and former Vice President Dick Cheney, Obama changed his tune. He said that his corrupt Attorney General, Eric Holder, could decide what to do about prosecuting people in the past administration. Actually, Holder has no chance of winning any such prosecutions. The US Constitution prohibits ex post facto laws.
  
  
• While Obama had promised to create or save millions of jobs, just the opposite has occurred. A record 650,000 jobs a month have been lost. At a meeting at the company of heavy equipment maker Caterpillar, Obama promised that if the spending bill ("Porkulus") were passed, Caterpillar CEO, Jim Owens, wouldn't lay-off anyone at Caterpillar. Immediately, Owens said that wasn't true and has announced two massive lay-offs since that meeting after Obama's "Porkulus" was passed.
  
  
• Obama has steadily fallen in all reliable polls. Hundreds of thousands across the country protested Obama's taxing and spending plans. Rather than the Boston Tea Party which protested taxation without representation, these Tea Parties protested taxation with misrepresentation. This resulted in the knee-jerk report that Homeland Security director Janet Napolitano released fearing domestic terrorism. The Tea Parties were all peaceful, unlike those protests of Obama supporters who are bussed from protest to protest for their various special interests.
  
  
• Since his first 100 days in office, we have learned that it is really true that Obama can't speak or coherently answer questions without a teleprompter. It's especially funny when he starts reading someone else's speech that was loaded into the teleprompter and doesn't notice it until he's well into the speech.
  
  
• Obama promised to end the secret wiretaps that monitored communications with suspected overseas terrorists. Instead, he's not only keeping them, but he's expanding them to include monitoring communications between American citizens within the United States. It appears that Obama fears his own citizens more than he does overseas terrorists. Oh, sorry, those who direct "man-caused disasters" that result in "overseas contingency operations."
  
  
• Obama was afraid to announce an order that he supposedly gave - twice - to use force against the Somali terrorists that held American Captain Phillips hostage, until after the military (that he inherited, by the way) had secured the Captain's rescue. Then Obama came out declared that it was his operation all along. Since that "man-caused disaster," Obama has failed to take any preventative action to stop piracy on the Somali coast.
  
  
• On a personal note, Obama has also failed to quit smoking.
  
  
• Closing out his first 100 days, Obama couldn't resist feeding his ego with a staged photo op. Claiming he knew nothing about it, Obama ordered one of the 747 jet liners used as Air Force One to buzz the New York Skyline while being escorted by an F-16 fighter jet. This caused thousands of New Yorkers to flee their offices in terror.

Yes, those are just some of the highlights of this failed administration's first 100 days. Don't worry, there's still lots for Obama to do, yet. He's promised to unilaterally disarm our nuclear defenses, draft citizens into some form of civil service (which he has never served himself), bankrupt the US coal industry, raise your taxes to confiscatory rates, nationalize the banks, nationalize healthcare, destroy capitalism and much, much more.

Unfortunately, for Obama, a couple of little things stand in his way; the US Constitution and patriotic Americans. He only has about a year and a half until the 2010 elections. Do you think America will stomach another two years of liberal democrats in control?
